Citizenship Tests to be offered online

Immigration will be testing a new online platform service to allow applicants who applied for Canadian Citizenship to write their knowledge test online. This feature will allow Immigration to modernize their Citizenship Program to be more efficient in processing applications in a timely manner.

There will be a gradual invitation process to determine if the online testing platform is reliable. Citizenship applications will have 21 days to complete the test, at a time that is convenient for them.

Immigration will notify those who are selected to take the online test, therefore you do not need to contact Immigration directly for this service.
