Fred Y-F Li

Fred Y-F Li is a co-founder of FP Immigration & Associates and senior immigration practitioner with over 12 years of experience advising clients on all Canadian immigration matters. He has experience in advising and providing strategic immigration solutions for international clients with an emphasis on business immigration, representing small to multi-national corporate employers engaged in hiring temporary foreign workers and acting as an Advocate for clients before the Immigration & Refugee Board of Canada. In addition to Fred’s Canadian immigration expertise, he has acted for individuals and employers with US immigration matters. For over 9 years, Fred is also a designated paralegal and has worked at three leading Canadian National Law Firms in the areas of labour & employment, human rights, civil litigation, corporate, family, contract, insolvency and alternative dispute resolution. He is also an adjunct instructor teaching immigration law courses and serves as a Member of various committees with the College of Immigration & Citizenship Consultants (formerly the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council).

Cedric M. Shen and his firm, Maxmilian Law Inc. are our partners in United States immigration.

 

A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, and currently based out of Los Angeles, California, Cedric M. Shen is a proud dual citizen of Canada and the United States and has been practicing law for over 10 years.  His preferred area of practice is U.S. immigration law. Mr. Shen has been licensed to practice law in the State of California and in all United States Immigration Courts since 2004. He is also licensed to practice U.S. law in the Province of British Columbia as a Practitioner of Foreign Law.
