Canada will resume accepting Visitor visa and eTA applications starting July 1st, 2020
Canada will begin accepting applications for Visitor Visas and eTa's starting July 1st, 2020 to facilitate the gradual reopening of the country's economy again. This also ensures there will be no unforeseen backlogs that may cause delays in future travel. However it is still important to note that current restrictions remain in place in terms of exemptions for family members who are staying for 15 days or longer, essential travel reasons, skilled workers and others. Study Permits, Work Permits and Permanent Residence applications will also begin to start processing again. The 14 day quarantine period still applies to all people who enter Canada from overseas. We wish safe travels to everyone who plans on coming to Canada.
