The new United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA) that was most recently renegotiated is designed to replace the aging North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Many businesses from all party countries were happy to hear that the chapter that regulates temporary entry for business persons remain unchanged. The 60 professional categories will continue to be in place and work permits under this agreement can be valid to up to three years and can be renewed. If you are a local business looking for skilled professionals under this trade agreement, come speak to one of our representatives and we can further discuss how your business can utilize the work of skilled professionals from the U.S and Mexico.
