Changes to 2017 Parental Sponsorship Application Intake

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has just announced changes to how they will accept applications under this program for the 2017 intake.

Sponsors are now required to submit an online registration first and then wait for IRCC to randomly draw 10,000 applications.

This new change in policy is meant to streamline the application process and make a more fair system for everyone who wants to apply.
